Hello internetters! About a month ago, a Kickstarter campaign caught my book-loving eye: Muse Monthly, a new subscription service that would send subscribers a new book and tin of tea each month. I couldn't resist donating. Subscription boxes are always fun to receive and open, and one for books was something I wanted to really see succeed; it's a great way to be introduced to new authors and books while also feeling good by drinking a new tea!
I got my first box last week, and though I've yet to crack the book open (I'm already in the middle of two, I can't do a third one), I was quite excited to open the Fed-Ex'd box and find the pictured goodies inside. The cover of Our Endless Numbered Days is beautiful, and somehow looks just picturesque with the tin of Mt. Hood Vanilla from Townshend's Tea Company. The tea infuser they included for Kickstarter supporters also fits the visual theme of vintage whimsy. The creators have done a wonderful job of putting together a box that's both lovely and highly appealing.
The box costs $21 for a monthly subscription, but it's well worth it, especially if you're a fellow book lover. You can subscribe here or visit Muse Monthly's blog to find out more information about their book pick for June or their subscription service.
P.S. They also put a bookmark in my box, which I forgot I'd tossed into the book before snapping this photo. It's a cute, plain quote bookmark with a little tassel. Check out the picture below.
